The Artist Judith Rackham
Born in Staffordshire, England Judith emigrated to Canada at the age of twenty.
Her education in the arts included studies in the area of fine arts, china pattern layout and design; this allowed her to work briefly in the studios of Josiah Wedgwood and Sons, the reputable makers of fine china. Since then, she has continued to increase her understanding of design and the practice of including carefully depicted details.
Over the years her art has been exhibited in both solo and group shows. She has fulfilled numerous private commissions incorporating land and seascapes, animal and human portraits. Judith's paintings and drawings contribute to private collections in countries around the word including North America and Europe.
As an experiential visual artist, she enjoys employing a multitude of mediums such as oils, acrylics, watercolours, aqua pencil and graphite.
